The “Children’s Art Studio” at Kula Heart Yoga will be offering a series of Art Workshops for children 5 to 8 years old this Summer, from June 28 to July 8. The workshops, guided by Carla M. Rodrigues, will provide the children with a variety of quality art techniques as a means of self-expression and awareness of the surrounding world. Kim Hogan: Mosaic and Watercolor Art
Kim Hogan is a professional artist accomplished in several mediums. Kim received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the School of Visual Arts in New York. She is an award winning mosaic artist who enjoys sharing her passion for the medium through teaching and exhibiting. She is also an accomplished watercolor artist, taught classes at the Crayola Factory and is a teaching staff at the Banana Factory Studio.

Ernest Jaeger has taught creative writing in many different settings to children, adolescents and adults for three decades.He has also developed and led creative writing classes for teachers. In addition, he has often judged poetry and writing contests.His preparation in this area includes Bachelor and Masters Degrees in English and a Doctorate in Creative Arts Education.He has been a member of The Other Poets, a writing and performance group that grew out of his seven years of participation in the Dodge Foundation’s poetry workshops for educators. Currently he is a contributing writer to New Jersey Countryside magazine and a contributing media reviewer to Library Journal.
