Anusara Yoga Anusara (a-nu-sar-a), means "flowing with Grace," "going with the flow," "following your heart". "Founded by John Friend in 1997, Anusara Yoga® is a powerful hatha yoga system that unifies a Tantric philosophy of intrinsic Goodness with Universal Principles of Alignment(TM)."
Anusara Inspired Yoga is the practice of hatha yoga, harmoniously aligning the body, heart, and mind. The practice follows the Universal Principles of Alignment(TM), while celebrating the heart and the beauty in all. Anusara yoga is a spiritual practice that embraces the beauty of diversity, truth and creative freedom of the Divine. We open our practice to be an individual, artistic expression of oneself while encouraging the union with our 'Kula' family/community. Anusara yoga is a practice for all - as we start our practice by "Opening to Grace", we set a clear intention in our hearts and mind and let the body flow freely with Grace and the Divine.
For more info on Anusara Yoga- visit: www.anusara.com

Ashtanga Inspired Following the Primary Series of the Ashtanga method, as founded by K. Pattabhi Jois, we weave in the alignment principles of the posture as we allow more than 5 breaths for each pose, giving time for the practitioner to align their body safely. As the teacher guides you through the basic Surya Namaskara (Sun Salutes) A, B; Standing Sequence; Seated Postures; Supine Sequence; some Inversions and Savasana- each section will be taught with the teachers choice of the postures within the Primary Series.
This class is recommended for those that are looking for more of an athletic form of yoga and have an existing practice of 2 years or more.
Foundations of Anusara Inspired Is a practice for a beginner and/or those that want to reconnect with the "foundation" of your yoga practice. We will be breaking down the asana (postures) using the Universal Principals of Alignment(TM) as we connect with our heart.
Hatha & Hatha Flow "Ha" sun, "tha" moon- refers to the integration of the opposites- hot/cold, male/female, right/left, hard/soft- to create balance. Hatha yoga is the physical yoga as a discipline of the will, tapping into the inner willpower- creating union in action, knowledge and love (body, mind, heart). In Hatha Yoga and Hatha Flow classes, we will teach each pose with alignment principles, to keep the body safe, connecting to breath, and your inner strength and spirit.
Kripalu Yoga Kripalu yoga is a meditation in motion. In this free flowing form of yoga, students learn to tap into their own intuition, creating a deep feeling of relaxation and healing. Modifications are suggested, allowing classes to be dynamic for all levels. Expect to feel peaceful afterwards.

Kundalini Yoga Kundalini Yoga uses movement, sound current, breath and meditation to relax and heal your mind and body, allowing the spirit to flow freely. Kundalini Yoga brings a greater feeling of well-being and happiness- our natural birthright as humans. This powerful and effective form of Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan, Ph.D., Master of Kundalini Yoga, is a great way to recharge and heal your body quickly. How? By stimulating the nervous, immune, and glandular systems, while improving strength and flexibility, as it centers the mind and opens the spirit. From your very first class, you'll reap the rewards including-- relief from back pain, stress, addiction, depression and insomnia, as well as weight control.
Kundalini Yoga promises you peace of mind. Everyone can do it!

Mommy/Daddy and Me A fun-filled Mommy (or Daddy) and me yoga class for children ages 3- 11 years.
This class will be filled with song, movement, fun and laughter. Yoga is a great way to bond with your child while teaching them the importance of exercise and living a healthy lifestyle. Yoga improves concentration, focus and attention while boosting confidence and self-esteem. A child who learns yoga and relaxation will be developing skills that last a lifetime.

Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy is based on the belief that we store our life experiences, attitudes and traumas in our bodies. Yoga poses can sometimes release these as emotions or thoughts. Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy combines assisted yoga postures with dialogue and breath work to focus on the body's inner wisdom. The therapist places the client in supported yoga postures and uses non-directive dialogue to help them connect with themselves. People experience relief from chronic pain, digestive complaints and feel an emotional lightness after each class
The emphasis will be to release areas of unconscious holding, facilitate harmony between body and mind but most of all to relax and have fun!

Prenatal Yoga This Yoga is for pregnant women. It is similar to restorative because it is slow moving and students stay in specified poses for a long period. The poses are to help your body prepare for optimal childbirth. It also helps with any anxieties that an expectant mother may have. Many poses such as twists and backbends are not practiced.
Relax & Renew Let go of your workday stress as you melt into a relaxed state, focusing on breath and gentle movement so that you can renew "self". A wonderful class for beginners and those seeking relaxation.
Restorative Yoga Restorative yoga uses props such as blankets, bolsters, and blocks to create a practice of mindful relaxation. This practice is for everyone wishing to bring serenity to body, mind, and spirit as we bring calm and peace to self.
Therapeutic Yoga Using the Universal Principals of Alignment (TM) from the Anusara method, we bring healing to the body as we align the body in it's most optimal blueprint of the individual bodies. It is a practice for those that have pain, discomfort and injury in the body.
Vinyasa Flow The practice of uniting breath to movement. There is a flow to this practice as we move from one pose into another as we connect with our breath. This practice is for those that already have an existing practice and awareness to breath and body. This is more of an athletic yoga as well as an energetic practice that will build strength, flexibility and endurance.
YOGAnatomy Did you ever wonder why some poses are more difficult in your body than other poses? As you practice a mixed level class, ask Florence your questions and she will expertly guide you to the answers to your muscular and skeletal body. Practice with an intelligent mind for comfort in your body and give ease to your spirit.
